TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Introduction
These terms and conditions apply to all sales operations conducted between Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand and non-professional travelers. The present conditions are part of the sale contract.

Capacity
Clients of Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand acknowledge their ability to engage in a contract under the terms and conditions described in the following paragraphs. This means they are of legal age and not under legal guardianship.
Clients of Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand acknowledge reading the present terms and conditions before placing their booking. Booking implies the client’s unconditional acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale at Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand.

Prices
All prices are displayed in Euros. They are subject to a yearly review and must be confirmed by the client at the time of booking. VAT is always included. Occupancy Tax is not included.
Prices for special services have no contractual value. You will be informed of any change in price before being asked to confirm your booking.

Online payment methods
Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand accepts only the following credit cards: Carte Bleue, Visa, American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard.

Force majeure
The hotel will be relieved of its obligations or suspend their performance in the event of circumstances beyond the hotel's control preventing it from fulfilling them, including the partial or complete destruction of the hotel, strikes, natural disasters, fires, technical accidents (either internal or external), and in any case of force majeure preventing the execution of service.
Force majeure is defined as any occurrence beyond the parties' control being both unpredictable and insuperable, and preventing the client from fulfilling part or all of the obligations prescribed in the contract.
Force majeure includes transportation strikes, hotel staff strikes, riots, insurgence, and any prohibition enacted by governmental or public authorities.
Both parties explicitly acknowledge that force majeure suspends the performance, for all parties, of their reciprocal obligations.

Complaints
Any complaint must be addressed to Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand by certified mail within the 30 days following the stay at the centre of the complaint.

General rules pertaining to the hotel business
Clients are required to show valid identity papers upon arrival at the hotel. Payment must be made upon arrival. It is customary at Hôtel Beaulieu to check in from 1.00PM onwards and to check out before 11AM. If that is not the case, an extra night will be charged. For stays lasting more than one night, rooms will not be cleaned after 12PM.
Clients must comply with the rules and customs of the hotel, and in particular ensure the peace and quiet of other guests. Smoking inside the hotel is prohibited. Any serious or repeated violation of these rules will entitle the hotel owner to put an end to the contract with immediate effect. Any client found smoking in his room will be fined 50 Euros. Any damage caused by clients to their room during their stay will be charged. The hotel is not liable for any theft, loss, or deterioration of luggage stored by clients either in the hotel's common property, in their room if it is left unlocked, or in a car in the hotel's parking lot.

Booking
Clients must provide credit card details at the time of booking: a valid number (Carte Bleue, Visa, American Express, Eurocard/Mastercard only) with the expiration date and the last three numbers on the back of the card. These details will act as a guarantee to secure the booking. The payment of the amount corresponding to the cost of the total stay will be pre-authorized on the card at the time of booking.
If booking takes place at least 15 days prior to the proposed arrival date, a cheque or bank transfer of the amount corresponding to the cost of the first night will be payable. Booking will be confirmed by mail, fax, or e-mail upon receipt of this payment.
Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand reserves to right to ask for advance payment of 30% of the cost of the total stay by credit card, cheque, or bank transfer. The booking receipt will then be sent by mail, fax or e-mail upon receipt of this payment.

Cancellation by the client
In the event of cancellation up to 1 day prior to arrival date, the hotel will not charge any fee and will reimburse any advance payment cashed. In the event of late cancellation, or non-arrival at the hotel, the client will be charged the cost of the first night of the stay. Hôtel Beaulieu Clermont-Ferrand must be forewarned of any cancellation by fax or by e-mail. The date of receipt of the fax or e-mail will be considered as the date of cancellation.

In the event of a complaint or litigation
Any litigation concerning the interpretation or the execution of this contract which cannot be solved by amicable settlement will be examined by the Courts of Justice of Clermont-Ferrand.
